Global Supply Chain Management
Graebel has a vast network 8,389 fully vetted and qualified services providers that provide some of our blue collar
services. Graebel provides MAC and move management, program management and planning services in-house
with a staff of full-time employees and a variable workforce.
Corporate relocation suppliers are increasingly embracing the cost efficiencies and other benefits offered by a vendor
management or service arranger business model. Few companies in this industry (and none of the largest) internally
employ the expertise required for full, localized service across the nation and in some cases in only select locations.
Nearly all the major moving and storage companies serve their customers through Independent Contractors (IC’s),
Terminal Services Contractors (TSC’s) and numerous specialty service providers.
Once a service provider is fully on boarded, Graebel ensures they are trained to our client’s process and procedures
to ensure all services are provided to respective client’s and Graebel standards.
Graebel has a vendor management team and global Supply Chain Manager whose sole responsibility is vetting and
qualifying service providers. Each service provider is required to review and sign a mutual confidentiality agreement,
a service provider agreement with client specific requirements and Graebel standards in the form of SLA’s/KPI’s
outlined within the agreement. Each supplier is required to meet our client’s and the Graebel insurance requirements
and maintain a master certificate of insurance on file at all times.
Through our network of vetted and qualified service providers, Graebel assigns project roles based on capabilities.
Due to our greater buying ability, based upon aggregating our annual spend of over $1.5B in the moving and storage
industry, Graebel is able to negotiate the best providers at the best rates which is a win/win scenario for our clients
and service providers.
