CREDITS
 You need atleast 80 credits and atleast 30 hours of
work/volunteer experience to graduate.
 4 credits for each course you take.
 Most kids receive more than the required amount of
credits.
ELECTIVE CREDITS
 Electives are courses you can choose for yourself,
based on your interests, abilities and future plans
and what’s available in your school or district.
 You will need 28 credits from these courses
numbered 10, 11, or 12
ELECTIVE COURSES EXAMPLES
 Fine Arts (Dance, Art, Band, Drama)
 Applied Skill (Wood Shop, Metal Work, Cooking,
and Sewing)
 A second language which most universities look for.

 You are required to pass these Provincial Exams to
graduate:
 Science 10

SCHOLARSHIPS
 Scholarships are available to aid you in post
secondary education.
 You can receive them for academics, sports, and
even community involvement.
GRADUATION!
 Once you’ve met the requirements and finished
your Grad Transition you can graduate!
