4. Our After School Program
Our K-6 after-school program teaches every child what it feels like to
succeed. Through engaging, hands-on, thought provoking interaction, we
empower children to be self-starters. We extend our reach so that they
perform actions at home and out in their communities as well.
Our SmartGAME® tool motivates, connects, and rewards students and their
families! Our 10-week program is "played" through an ACTION plan which is
presented as a game. Utilizing applied behavior analysis techniques, we
reach and motivate students in age appropriate activities, engaging them in
the following:
Nutrition - Tasting, trying new fruits and vegetables
Fitness- ABC "Activity Bursts in the Classroom"
Gardening - Interactive kit provided with on-line characters- "Growums."
Yoga Calm for Children - Social/emotional whole-child learning activities such as
o breathing, grounding, listening, community, and strength.
National Green Schools Society - All players become members as they learn how to
contribute actively to the world around them.
Love My Planet- Students engage in activities which embed life-long habits involving
sustainability. Exploring the five pillars of sustainability PLUS kindness:
o Energy, waste, water, ecology, food , kindness (including compassion)
Financial Literacy - Students link the savings they are creating through their wise
environmental stewardship to financial benefits as they BANK their savings!

9. Health Needed A Hero The Graceplay Connect SmartGAME® learning system
was inspired by Grace, a little girl who had a rare genetic
disease called Sanfilippo Syndrome. Grace was missing an
important enzyme and could not break down cellular
material properly. This caused a storage process which
had degenerative effects. Grace's condition showed us
clearly what happens to any eco-systemthat becomes
overtaxed. Sadly, Grace passed away on August of 2014.
Grace did not speak or communicate other than with her
eyes and expressions and she only responded to a special
type of teaching called ABA (Applied Behavioral
Analysis). This method works very well for children with and
without developmental challenges, and we have found a
way to harness it's power! Grace lived for 13 wonderful
years. Her spirit remains with us, as we all play with our
one-of-a-kind Super Health HERO, amA+zing GRACE!
We provide transformative inter-
disciplinary educational programming
to create inspired, life-long learners. We
engage students in hands-on activities,
teaching them goal setting, focused
consistent action over an extended period
of time, and achievement. We intervene
early, and keep HEALTHY CHILDREN
WELL!!
