Bowen Therapy is shown to be clinically effective in 3 randomized controlled trials and other studies. The trials show that Bowen Therapy can:
1. Significantly increase hamstring flexibility over time with a single treatment.
2. Reduce pain in the early postoperative period following knee replacement surgery.
3. Improve health outcomes such as reduced pain, increased mobility, and fewer migraines for various conditions.
While more research is still needed, existing studies indicate that Bowen Therapy is an effective, noninvasive treatment that can be used in various healthcare settings to treat musculoskeletal and neurological issues.

Delivering quality within the NHS
12th - 13th October 2011
About the Conference
Following the temporary ‘pause’ of the
government's Health and Social Care Bill, what
have the coalition truly learnt and what does it
mean for the future of the NHS?
Reforms are essential to avert a £20billion
funding shortfall but the drive for efficiency and
increased productivity during these cutbacks
has raised vital concerns over the delivery of
quality care. Despite the pause, concerns
continue to be voiced over how the current
changes will improve patient care and whether
too much is being done too soon. With pertinent
issues of accountability and competition, there
is an urgent need for education, training and
support when implementing the continual
reforms in the countdown to establishing the
consortia.
This forum provides the perfect opportunity to
debate the underlying challenges, forge
valuable partnerships and create essential
strategies for improving the productivity and
efficiency of care delivered in 2012.
