This experiment tested the protein concentrations of soy milk and carnation milk using a protein extraction kit and spectrographic machines to measure absorbance. The results showed that carnation milk had a higher protein concentration of 5.45mg/ml compared to soy milk which was 3.4mg/ml, demonstrating that different types of milk contain different amounts of the important biomolecule proteins.

They could be considered the workers of the body. They can also act as enzymes, which catabolize reactions and speeds them up using less energy. This experiment was used using spectrographic machines to test their absorbance and overall their relative protein concentration. Different types of milks have different protein concentrations; we performed this experiment with soy milk and carnation milk. During our experiment we came to the conclusion that Soy milk has the least amount of protein because its final concentration was of 3.4mg/ml, and carnation milk had a final concentration of 5.45mg/ml. <br />
