1. John 9:1-3
As He went along, He saw a man blind from
birth. His disciples asked Him, ‘Rabbi, who
sinned, this man or his parents, that he was
born blind?’ ‘Neither this man nor his
parents sinned,’ said Jesus, ‘but this
happened so that the work of God might be
displayed in his life.

2. John 9:4-6
As long as it is day, we must do the work of
Him Who sent Me. Night is coming, when
no one can work. While I am in the world, I
am the light of the world.’ Having said this,
He spit on the ground, made some mud
with the saliva, and put it on the man’s
eyes.

3. John 9:7-9
‘Go,’ He told him, ‘wash in the Pool of
Siloam’ (this words means Sent). So the
man went and washed, and came home
seeing. His neighbors and those who had
formerly seen him begging asked, ‘Isn’t this
the same man who used to sit and beg?’
Some claimed that he was. Others said,
‘No, he only looks like him.’ But he himself
insisted, ‘I am the man.’ www.networkbible.org
4. John 9:10-12
‘How then were your eyes opened?’ They
demanded. He replied, ‘The man they call
Jesus made some mud and put it on my
eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash.
So I went and washed, and then I could
see.’ ‘Where is this man?’ they asked him.
‘I don’t know,’ he said.

5. John 9:35-36
Jesus heard that they had thrown him out,
and when He found him, he said, ‘Do you
believe in the Son of Man?’ ‘Who is He,

6. John 9:37-38

7. One of our recruiting
techniques is simply telling
our STORY.
Answering what happened is where the
WORK of God is put on display.
When and where have you learned the
most about God; most likely when you
have had to LEAN upon Him.
8. Who was involved is where
we testify to the ONE Whom
God sent
Our stories may have similarities; they
may be vastly different, but the common
denominator is JESUS.
…What now? Give all the GLORY to God.
9. Many of us hold back in FEAR
that we don’t know enough,
but God has given you all you
need to tell your story.
The CREDIT is not on the man’s faith or
obedience, but goes to Jesus.
Your tale is not my tale, but it is part of
God’s STORY and for His GLORY.
10. Please take a moment to fill out your
Communication Card
My Next Step Today is to:
( ) Do the home life help (in bulletin)
( ) Reflect on how God has worked in my life
( ) Take time to praise and thank God for what He
has done.
( ) Evaluate if I seek to give more credit to God or
to myself
( ) Write out my testimony that I may be better
prepared to share it.
