It is located in Mountain View, CA and oversees projects such as self-driving cars, solar-powered drones, Google Glass, smart contact lenses that monitor glucose levels, Project Loon which provides internet access via high-altitude balloons, and Project Tango smartphones that can map 3D environments. The life sciences division of Google X also conducts research on life sciences topics.
