Trucks move roughly 70% of our nation’s freight (by weight), effectively moving 10.4 billion tons of freight
annually, including 2017 (1). With these numbers, it’s easy to see why our nation is facing a capacity crisis —
where the industry has an abundance of loads, but a limited amount of capacity (or trucks) to ship those loads.
For example, at the end of 2017, the ratio was seven loads to every one truck (2), and in early 2018, some
reported their highest monthly average in history: nine loads for every truck (3).
The problem? There’s no extra capacity available. However, that does mean prices will be extremely competitive.

on the transaction, both parties are given a single, transparent receipt that clearly shows

RESOLVED DETENTION, FUEL & PAYMENT FACTORS
GoLoad automatically measures detention based on telematics to ensure fairness to shipper and carrier (automatically
billed at the rate of $200 per hour for any time the driver is detained beyond 90 minutes, combined, at pickup and drop-
off locations). Fuel is billed automatically based on real-time, transparent fuel prices in the lane. Payment terms for
GoLoad transactions are EFT within 48 hours of proof-of-delivery.
