Be a true lover drawing out her desire
Be a true leader making decisions in her best interest
Share Kindly from scripture (wash with the water of
the word)

obeying the Word?
Don’t get bitter
Set an example by how you submit to your head
Jesus Christ. Talk about it!

What can wives do whose husbands
drink and beat them or their
children?
Keep a clean house
Praise and Build him up in whatever way possible
Build him up before the children in what
ever way possible
Let the police take him, don’t send him out of
the house
Discipline the children

A Woman’s two most powerful
weapons against a husband
who does not obey God are:
1. Silence
2. Prayer

3:1 In the same way, wives, be
subject to your own husbands. Then

word, they will be won over without a
word by the way you live,
3:2 when they see your pure and
reverent conduct.

3:3 Let your beauty not be external –
3:4 but the inner person of the heart,
the lasting beauty of a gentle and
tranquil spirit, which is precious in
God’s sight.
3:5 For in the same way the holy
women who hoped in God long ago
adorned themselves by being subject
to their husbands,

3:7 Husbands, in the same way, treat
your wives with consideration as the
weaker partners and show them
honor as fellow heirs of the grace of
life. In this way nothing will hinder
your prayers.

Do not deprive each other except
by mutual consent and for a time,

yourselves to prayer. Then come
together again so that Satan will
not tempt you because of your
lack of self-control.

providing like God
asks seems to
hard, men escape
to addictions,
pleasure,
temporary
diversions

Instead of coming
along side as helpers,
Women move into a
rescuing role, become
a “second mother”
Often out of goodwill to help
their husbands grow, become
better, but sometimes out of a
demand to meet their needs.
This ends up emasculating
and driving their husbands
away.
