Through its efforts, it has succeeded to come amongst the best mechanical engineering colleges in U.P. It boasts of seven major schools which offer 40+ UG/postgraduate/professional courses together with a highly esteemed and qualified faculty with years of rich industry experience. The campus extends across a whopping 300acre with a worldclass infrastructure. It also includes Stateoftheart facilities, fully furnished hostels and recreation centres. Glocal too has changed with the ever changing times and accepted the transformation in such a way, as to create an even better structure for imparting knowledge to the students. At Glocal, the radical approach is preferred towards education with an indepth study and international teaching styles that encourage a practical application of knowledge along with a code of ethics, therefore allowing not just an inner academic growth for the students, but a significant improvement in their overall abilities. Activities like the workshop on Microsoft based Technology have also been a part of the knowledge structure here in collaboration with Mindtears Pvt Ltd. in the recent past. To show the University's association to the global network, a Letter of Intent was entered into upon 24th day of February 2016 by and between: The Chancellor, Master and Scholars of the University of Cambridge and The Glocal University, Saharanpur. It has not been hidden that the first UGC visit to Glocal University was a huge success and the UGC team repeatedly appreciated the world class infrastructure of and was visibly impressed by the active involvement of students and faculty members in the development of Glocal.
