MAAPSI Bangladesh is working to mobilize youth and promote their involvement in social and political issues. It has formed several youth study circles and discussion groups across Bangladesh to raise awareness about topics like democracy and governance. Some of its activities include organizing orientation trainings for university graduates on the NGO sector, holding seminars on the role of youth in parliamentary democracy, and establishing youth women's study circles to discuss these issues and how to disseminate democratic values in local communities. Summary about F.O.C.U.S.: Globe
It's time to think "sustainable"! The youth exchange "F.O.C.U.S: Globe!" initiated by Mladiinfo FEJS MK and supported by the European commission through the EU program Youth in Action, brought together 34 young people from Macedonia, Serbia, United Kingdom, Latvia, Bulgaria and Ukraine in Skopje and gave them the opportunity to discuss and report about sustainable urban ecosystem issues, raise their awareness about global challenges and how they affect our everyday lives, and understand together the ecology of a changing planet, while learning about each other's countries and cultures.
MIT Global Challenge - Progress Update

1) SocialErasmus is ESN's flagship project for 2012 and involves international students participating in volunteering and social activities in their host countries to promote social integration.
2) Sections are encouraged to appoint a national SocialErasmus coordinator, plan activities throughout the year and especially during SocialErasmus week from May 4-11, 2012, and apply for co-funding for events.
3) ESN will provide sections with guidelines, promotional materials, and support to organize successful SocialErasmus events and activities.

GCSD - VEDIKE - Host Organization 2015

Objectives • To create a platform for local and global youth to represent themselves and express their ideas for social change • To dialogue and discuss about the three themes of the Assembly • To create a sense of brotherhood among the participating nations • To make room for a cultural exchange among the youth of the participating nations
- 5. Workshops •Theme-based workshops, talks and panel discussions conducted by experts in the fields •Discussion by the youth of various countries addressing the following 1. The Right to Education 2. Green Technology and Ecological Sustainability 3. Woman and Youth Empowerment – Creating a platform for their voices
- 8. Youth-led Development Programs Past Programs – • 2010 Bangalore Campus Climate Champions • 2011 Bangalore MDG Champion
- 9. The 2012 Social Impact Awards • Themes – 1. Educate to Empower 2. Environmental Sustainability 3. Advocacy and Empowerment 4. Health 5. Community Development 6. Adequate Housing • A group of 3 – 5 students make detailed proposals of a social initiative based on one of the six themes • Based on online votes and a panel of experts’ decision at the Global Citizens Youth Assembly, 6 projects will be chosen to be implemented with a funding of INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 • Three of the chosen projects will be from Bangalore teams, and three from other parts of India

YOU(th), Us and Development An NGO Job Fair for students • Through this program, students can explore their options to volunteer, intern and work at various Non- Governmental Organizations from around Bangalore. • Various NGOs from around Bangalore city will participate and open up opportunities for the youth from around India to work with them.
