Joe and Allison Stutson felt called to plant a church in San Diego that would glorify God and build people up. In April 2017, they launched King's Anthem Church with the mission of being a church where people want to be and where they can flourish in God's presence and spiritual family. The strategic launch plan outlines their vision, timeline, costs, and call for volunteers and financial support to help launch the new church.

For Joe and Allison Stutson the
answer was to start a church in a
large city with military bases and
marketplaces.
In 2004, Joe deployed to Iraq as an
infantryman. After returning home,
he played football for the L.S.U.
National Championship football team,
and married Allison, his high school
sweetheart.
In 2011, Joe began pastoring soldiers
in the Army Chaplaincy, a ministry
that is dedicated to bringing God to
soldiers and soldiers to God. Over the
past four years Joe has worked full time
at a large thriving church in
Mandeville, Louisiana, while completing
a Masters Degree in Divinity at the
New Orleans Baptist Theological
In the summer of 2015, Joe and Allison
and their fivechildren packed up alltheir
belongings and moved to San Diego.
In April of 2017, they are launching
King’s Anthem in California.

5. SIMPLE
APPROACH
Here’s the thing. People are busy. Life is busy. We do not want
church to consume their time. We want the anthem of Jesus to
consumetheirlife.
We never want church to get in the way of people encountering
the message of Jesus Christ. We want to make it hard for people
in San Diego to not hear about the anthem of Jesus Christ by
making it easy for them to experience the presence of God and
spiritualfamily.

Our weekend services are designed with the whole family in mind and include
contemporary worship and a time of biblical teaching. We intentionally organize our
services to be a fun, life-giving environment where peoplecanencounterthepresenceofGod

King’s Anthem Church is all about Building People, so we’ve

and events designed to help you grow in relational,
