1. Gitune.com – a new generation social network based on live video interaction, it’s
possible to register there (registration through popular social networks as option) as
well as stay anonymous.
The main goals of the project are entertainment and communication with people from
all over the world. All the users understand each other no matter what language they
speak. The project is oriented to the people who do not like to get bored, socially
active and inquisitive, are ready to show themselves.
2. Gitune was born of the necessity to harness the advantages of services
such as Skype, Spotify, Chatroulette, Tinychat and Airtime, in one portal.
The project was launched in alpha test on June, 3th 2012, and in open
beta test on September, 1st 2012.
We collect reviews, fix bugs, improve services and constantly
expand our audience.
We plan that our audience will be 1 500 000 users
by 2013 and 20 000 000 users by the end of 2015.
Therefore, the number of daily visitors will be 400 thousand
and number of daily registrations – 50 thousand.
3. The Project is developed by the team with a great business experience:
Alexey Gimatdinov – author and founder, the project leader – 8 successful
business years.
Denis Tumanov – Financial officer, 15 years of commercial activity
Simon Oxley – art-director, exclusive illustrator of the microstock
Istockphoto, famous for his unique style of painting and creation of the
twitter bird. He is also designer of successful projects as turntable.fm and
plug.dj. He worked with such labels as Mitsubishi, Toyota, Coca-cola, Sony
digital.
4. Dmitry Samsonov – head of the development sector, has 17-year experience of
application development, worked abroad in the development companies in the USA
and New Zealand.
Roman Tupik – leading developer, experience in web technologies – 8 years.
Alexandr Filichev – promotion manager in chief. Painter, writer, participant of the
international exhibitions, organizer of the art projects. Director and founder of the
Creative Educational Centre in Vologda 2003-2006. Scriptwriter in the TV program
“Right of defense” 1 channel 2012.
Eduard Lytkin – sound maker, arranger (guitar man, composer, prize winner of the
international competitions, prize for the 1st place in talents competition (guitar) Las
Vegas,NV,USA 2011, Grant Prie and 1st prize in the talents competitions Moscow 2009
(guitar))
There are 15 people in the team, including developers, promotion department, flash
animator, accountant, pets.
5. According to the research, there will be sold over
800 million webcams by 2013, and Internet speed
now can broadcast video of very high quality.
Our target audience want to have fun when they are online.
When you come to our site you are grabbed by the whirl of events, you see
9 random people from all over the world and here your adventures begin.
We have a special gitFilter, to cut off the unwanted
content, in order to make your adventures
not so spicy.
6. If you want to have a chat with a person you like, you can use
video call function (your video isn’t shown to the whole world
during video call) or text messages with auto translation. It’s
possible to contact with anyone around the world, meeting
people at the conference, thematic broadcast, while
viewing TV or listening to the radio together with
your network. Then you can add a person to
your contact list.
7. Conference service allows you to connect up to 12
people with the simultaneous broadcast of high quality
video and sound streams of all the conference participants.
Video broadcasting service allows you to create your own
broadcast with unlimited audience. You can create unmanaged broadcast
(webcams installed in interesting places) as well as broadcast with
feedback with the ability to get the video
questions from users.
8. TV service - currently has more than 100
TV channels (which will be about 1,000 by 2013) with
the possibility of co-watching. You can also watch videos on
Youtube together. When you click on a channel to watch it, you see
people who, like you, are watching it now. It is possible to exchange
messages with them in a text chat, cheer on your favorite team, find
out what you’ve missed in the TV series. Radio service - over 1,000
radio stations are gathered into categories, with the
possibility of a co-listening. Party rock in
the air!
9. Now the following work is in
progress:
- Migrating to portable devices, online radio service is already in use,
which is available in the Android store and iStore.
- Active development of musical service, with more than 20 million tracks,
online nightclubs and several unique services never seen before.
- Gitshop – online shop to sell real and virtual goods
of the gitworld.
10. Our business model is based on different levels of subscriptions, direct
sales and advertising revenue. We’re working on and improving our project
every minute. Our goal is to create a brand with a worldwide name -
gitune. Creation of our own gitStyle is the main component of our success,
which will mark us out among other competing brands.
