2. is a gig booking platform that
makes
booking gigs easier,
more efficient and cheaper .
3. What is
GigPig is the fastest growing music marketplace, gig
management and booking platform. Designed specifically
to empower hospitality operators to take their bookings in-
house, saving them both time and money.
GigPig will transform the way the hospitality industry books
entertainment, servicing both Multiple Retail Groups and
individual independent venues alike, embedding so
deep into the industry’s culture that it will become the
market leader in entertainment booking for the hospitality
industry.
GigPig has been created by a UK based team that has
worked directly in this sector of the entertainment industry
for over a decade, booking upwards of 6500 gigs per
annum. We understand the processes involved and the pain
points experienced by venues and artists.
4. Who we are
GigPig was founded in 2022 by three music
agents and a tech developer.
It developed as a reaction to the
post-pandemic landscape within the
hospitality sector and how venues booked
their live music and DJs. Operators looked
to streamline their booking process and
save costs wherever possible.
We were well placed to anticipate
the many challenges that venues
and in particular MRGs were going
to experience as a result of taking
hundreds of monthly bookings inhouse.
Michael and Andrew own and run AMV
Live Music Ltd, a successful live music
agency based in the North East of England
booking 6500 gigs nationwide
a year across both B2C and B2B
sectors using their own in-house bespoke
booking system created in 2013.
In 2019 one of their biggest multi-venue
clients, booking 100 gigs a month in each
site, decided to take their bookings in-
house. Michael and Andrew saw this as an
opportunity and allowed the venue to use
the same artists and licence the AMV
system.
This resulted in a 90% saving for the
venue and empowered their operations
team to book music without third party
involvement.
GigPig was born
Kit Muir Rogers, a well-respected booker in
Manchester and close friend of Michael and
Andrew’s, was looking to scale his business.
A decision was made to combine resources
and artists, and launch GigPig more
effectively across the North East and North
West
Ed Francis was an integral part of
the AMV booking system build. He
understands the industry, knows how to
grow businesses through technological
innovation so was uniquely placed to
join GigPig as our CTO.

6. The Problem
Millions wasted in agency and booking fees annually to get
access to the artists market.
Venues rarely have time to locate, audition, negotiate, book
and pay artists so they subcontract the whole process out to
third party agents and bookers.
Artists dislike the process as it leads to a reduction in their fee,
due to agency commissions.
The impact of chasing invoices and late payments.
Lack of marketing material and the visability needed to get
gigs.
The impact that a 'no show' can have on a venue.
The hospitality
sector wastes

and booking fees

11. Muso is a live entertainment start up
launched in Melbourne and now
operating across Australia. Receiving
£2 million in funding in two tranches in
2019 and 2021, it is expanding into the
UK market. Currently it has very few
venues and no artists. They are actively
targeting the same venues and hires
we are. They are very much a threat
given their level of backing, but we are
winning the race to be the market
leader given our industry background
and knowledge.
GigRealm is an online platform with an
offering similar to GigPig. Based in
Cornwall and built by techs rather than
agents, it has confused its offering by
trying to incorporate a B2C aspect, and
also by the way it deals with artist
payments. It has been in existence
since 2016. They have recently set up a
company called Gig Realm
International. It is currently trying to
acquire venues and artists.
Competition
None of our competitors have successfully serviced both sides of the
marketplace, or have the industry knowledge and experience in the space. We
have unrivalled insight into both the UK and European hospitality and artist
markets due to our proven track record of successfully working in, and leading,
businesses within the space.
