5. History of state
● Established in 1732, it was the thirteenth colony
to be founded, under James Oglethorpe’s rule.
● Was the 4th State to ratify the Constitution on
January 2, 1788.
● Participated in the Civil War.

● Had many riots held in Georgia pertaining the
Civil Rights Movement.

● In 2013, the Census for Georgia released
the population to be 9,992,167 people.

the Atlanta airport wearing a hazmat suit saying
that the Center for Disease Control was lying.
