Projects and Relevant Experience
Mineral Exploration Design Final Project:
 Study limited real world bore hole data with the purpose of identifying and modeling
mineralization on the prospect.
 Analyze mineralization data and combine with local geological trends to define a proposed ore
body.
 Construct a drill plan for the following season, designed to test my model.
 Present model and drill plan to a mock board of directors for consideration.
Interdisciplinary Petroleum design:
 Worked with students from other departments to develop an exploration and production plan

 Responsible for analyzing drill core data, identifying faults, accumulating accurate cost data to
generate the bid, including property leasing, and mineral rights costs.
 Present plan and bid to a panel of professors and industry representatives.
Epics II (GIS):
 I accumulated and analyzed data pertaining to groundwater flow and aquifer depth and
environmental susceptibility to chemical spills.
 Generate a map highlighting hazards along phase IV of the keystone XL pipeline.
 Based on this data I was able to propose alternate routs at similar costs.
 Presented findings to professor and industry contact.
