1. To maximise Genesis Energy’s position by maintaining community stakeholder
relationships for the Huntly Power Station, including coordination, organisation
and information provision
Internal
To build and maintain effective working relationships within Energy
Management teams and support Corporate Affairs and Renewable
Environmental Teams on agreed work streams.
External
To work constructively and collaboratively with the community and HPS
stakeholders and other contractors
Working in alignment with Genesis Energy’s public affairs processes to review
sponsorship opportunities related to the Huntly Power Station, including
identification of strategic opportunities for Genesis Energy to support key
community groups
Plan, coordinate and organise various events for Huntly Power Station such as
the Annual Stakeholder event and the VIP Rugby League event
Respond to day to day stakeholder issues
Lead the coordination and compilation of the Annual Environmental Report
Achievements:
Building of a strong community and organisational network to enhance Genesis
Energy’s relationships in the Huntly community
Organising the Genesis Energy Annual stakeholder dinner event which is a
highlight of the year for our stakeholders in Huntly. This event is attended by
dignitaries, Iwi and as such, is a high profile event.
Responsible for coordinating the Annual Environmental Report- a document used
