1. The Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi and candidates while applying for the examination, will have
to indicate their option.

adjudged on the accuracy of typing on the Computer of a given text passage in 10 minutes.

Typewriting test by the FactorylUnit. The Passage Dictators will read out the passage to the VH candidates within

Question will be aimed at testing the candidate's General Awareness of the environment around him. Question will also be

standard and would include such matters of every day
observations and experience as may be expected of any educated person.

SCHEME:
1. There will be a written 'examination of one paper. The paper will be of "Objective-Multiple-choice-type" of
maximum I00 marks.
2. The paper will consist of two parts:
(a) PART - A will consist of20 marks having questions on General Science and Quantitative Aptitude, each
having weightage of 10 marks. The question will be of up to 10th
standard. -
(b) PART - B will consist of80 marks ofNCVT syllabus for the relevant trade. ;
All the questions will be compulsory. There will be no negative marking.

4. In selection process, other things being equal i.e. marks being equal, trained Ex-trade Apprentices of Opto

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION: .
a) Applications must be submitted in the prescribed form published with this advertisement as Annexure "A".
b) The eligible candidates fulfilling the requisite specifications may submit their application to The General

c) Application must be filled up either in EnglishlHindi.
d) Candidates must write the name of the post applied for on the left corner of the envelope in BOLD CAPITAL

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE APPLICANTS/CANDIDATES:
a) Before applying for the. post, the applicant(s) should read carefully all the instructions to satisfy themselves
abouttheir-eligibility for the post so as to avoid anydisappointment at later stage.
Candidates appearing for written test will travel on their own expenses. However, SC/ST candidates appearing
for Written Test will be paid passenger Train (only second class)/Bus fare to and fro on production of
