This study aimed to determine gender-based differences among police officers in Cavite, Philippines. It sought to examine their demographic characteristics, roles and responsibilities in reproductive, productive, community and leisure activities, as well as access to and control over resources. The study found that most police officers were college-educated, married, and in permanent positions. It also found that female police officers primarily handled reproductive activities and had less access to and control over resources than male police officers. The study concluded there were gender differences in the roles and responsibilities of police officers and provided recommendations.
