8. LO 6: Know about keeping safe from radicalisation
1.Outline some of the warning signs that an extremist group or an individual
with extremist beliefs may be involved in criminal activity.
2.State some of the methods that extremist groups use to encourage people
to join them, adopt their beliefs and/or engage in criminal activity on behalf of
the group.
3.Outline some key ways individuals can keep themselves safe from
radicalisation, including when online.
4.Give examples of what to do if
a) you think you or another person is at risk of being radicalised
b) you become aware of possible or actual criminal extremist activity.

•Identify situations where they might be at risk of radicalisation.

might be trying to radicalise them.

radicalisation, including when on-line.
•State what to do if they have any concerns about radicalisation.
Examples of Entry 3 content
11. • Online test: 20 questions for Level 1; 16 questions for Entry 3
• Approximately 40 minutes
• Each paper covers all six learning outcomes
• Learners receive a randomised selection of questions from a large
bank of multiple choice questions.
• Resits are free but learners should have sufficient time for additional
learning
• Centres can set a window for when they want their learners to sit the
assessment i.e. 1st
to 31st
October. We recommend this window is no
longer than a month.
