Horkelia cuneata ssp. cuneata is a spreading but somewhat erect perennial herbaceous plant native to coastal dunes from San Francisco to San Diego. It has attractive, much dissected leaves clustered at the base and spreading flowering stalks above the foliage that bloom small, solitary white flowers from March to September. As a coastal plant once common but now disappearing due to habitat loss, it is suitable for gardens where its small white flowers can be enjoyed along paths or at the front of beds, preferably with full sun or part shade, sandy soil, and low water requirements.
