The document discusses the need for internal cultivation and spiritual development before engaging in external actions of service. While the practice of non-violence has led the author to give up activities, their spirit still feels a need to address injustice and suffering in the world. They see a path forward through rigorous inner work and facing challenges to achieve a state where external service can be performed with a spirit of selflessness. The secret, they say, has always been using service as a way to purify the mind.

Gandhiji & Empowerment of Women 2 10-2012 colouredVIBHUTI PATEL
• Woman is more fitted than man to make exploration and take bolder action in nonviolence.
• There is no occasion for women to consider themselves subordinate or inferior to men.
• Woman is the companion of man, gifted with equal mental capacity.
• If by strength is meant moral power, then woman is immeasurably man's superior.
• If nonviolence is the law of our being, the future is with women.
• Woman, I hold, is the personification of self-sacrifice, but unfortunately today she does not realize what tremendous advantage she has over man.
These are some of the most famous quotes from Gandhiji’s writings and speeches. Gandhiji believed that India’s salvation depends on the sacrifice and enlightenment of her women. Any tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, the Great Soul, would be an empty one, if we were to take no cue for our own guidance from his words and from his life; for him ideas and ideals had no value if they were not translated into action. He saw man and women as equals, complementing each other. And he saw himself not as a visionary, but as a practical idealist. If then, men and women work together selflessly and sincerely as equals with a faith like Gandhi’s, they may indeed realize Ram Rajya, the perfect state. Traditionally, woman has been called abala (without strength). In Sanskrit and many other Indian languages bala means strength. Abala means one without strength. If by strength we do not mean brutish strength, but strength of character, steadfastness, and endurance, she should be called sabala, strong. His message almost six decades ago at the All India Women’s Conference on December 23, 1936 was: “When woman, whom we call abala becomes sabala, all those who are helpless will become powerful.”
This has a message My India! Pride! and is the need of hour to understand and learn on how to have a corrupt free society in the present Indian democracy.
The need of the hour to better our Indian Democracy is to understand and learn from our Ancient Indian system that maintained a corruption free society between 8th to 16th century and even beyond that period dates backs to Vedic period.
Gandhiji's Concept of Religion and its Relevance in Present SocietyDr. Amarjeet Singh
Religion comes out of life and can never be divorced
from it. The root meaning of religion is that which binds men
together and which binds the loose ends of impulses, desires
and various processes of each individual. Hence it is an
integrative experience of men collectively and individually. In
this regards Gandhiji's concept of religion contains various
aspects- truth, non-violence brotherhood, peace etc. To
Gahdhiji, a free and peaceful world will emerge only when
the spirituality irrigates men's personal and social life.

Transforming Brand Perception and Boosting Profitabilityaaryangarg12
In today's digital era, the dynamics of brand perception, consumer behavior, and profitability have been profoundly reshaped by the synergy of branding, social media, and website design. This research paper investigates the transformative power of these elements in influencing how individuals perceive brands and products and how this transformation can be harnessed to drive sales and profitability for businesses.
Through an exploration of brand psychology and consumer behavior, this study sheds light on the intricate ways in which effective branding strategies, strategic social media engagement, and user-centric website design contribute to altering consumers' perceptions. We delve into the principles that underlie successful brand transformations, examining how visual identity, messaging, and storytelling can captivate and resonate with target audiences.
Methodologically, this research employs a comprehensive approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analyses. Real-world case studies illustrate the impact of branding, social media campaigns, and website redesigns on consumer perception, sales figures, and profitability. We assess the various metrics, including brand awareness, customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue growth, to measure the effectiveness of these strategies.
The results underscore the pivotal role of cohesive branding, social media influence, and website usability in shaping positive brand perceptions, influencing consumer decisions, and ultimately bolstering sales and profitability. This paper provides actionable insights and strategic recommendations for businesses seeking to leverage branding, social media, and website design as potent tools to enhance their market position and financial success.

Book Formatting: Quality Control Checks for DesignersConfidence Ago
This presentation was made to help designers who work in publishing houses or format books for printing ensure quality.
Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.

7. A stage comes in a person’s life when there is no need to express his thoughts,
and even less so through external actions. Thought alone suffices. It holds
such a strength. In such a state, we can say that even without external action,
service is being offered. My cultivation is geared in a similar direction.
However, while practicing non-violence has inspired me to let go of all
activities one by one, my soul refuses to accept any state of bliss till there is
even one injustice or sorrow in this world. My spirit tugs me in one direction
while my body pulls me in an opposite direction. There is a way out of this tug
of war -- but that stage is achieved very slowly through extremely rigorous
cultivation and facing many challenges.
8. I will have to reach this freedom,
not by refusing to engage in the
world, but by performing my
actions with the spirit of
selflessness. The secret of this
revolution has always been to
use external service as a
continuous ceremony to purify
and still the mind.
11. “Whether mankind will consciously follow the Law of Love, I do
not know. But that need not perturb us. The Law will work, just
as the Law of Gravitation will work, whether we accept it or not.
And just as a scientist will work wonders out of various
applications of the Laws of Nature, even so a man who applies
the Law of Love with scientific precision can work greater
wonders. For, the force of Non-violence is infinitely more
wonderful and subtle than the forces of Nature, like, for
instance, electricity."
--Gandhi
13. ‘In one village a notoriously fierce communal agitator came up to Gandhi in
front of hundreds of paralyzed onlookers, put his hands around Gandhi's
slender throat, and began choking the life out of him. Such is the height to
which Gandhi had grown that there was not even a flicker of hostility in his
eyes, not a word of protest. He yielded himself completely to the flood of love
within him, and the man broke down like a little child and fell sobbing at his
feet. For those who watched, it seemed a miracle. For Gandhi, who had got
used to the "miracles" of love, it only proved for the hundredth time in his own
life the depth of the words … "Hatred does not cease by hatred at any time;
hatred ceases by love. This is an unalterable law." ’
– Eknath Easwaran, Gandhi the Man
15. “If India adopted the doctrine of love as an
active part of her religion and introduced it
in her politics, Swaraj would descend upon
India from heaven. If it did, India would
establish Swaraj in a day. But I am painfully
aware that that event is far off as yet."
Gandhi
17. "It was not that we did not know how to invent machinery, but our
forefathers knew that, if we set our hearts after such things, we would
become slaves and lose our moral fiber. They further reasoned that large
cities were a snare and a useless encumbrance and that people would not
be happy in them, that there would be gangs of thieves and robbers,
prostitution and vice flourishing in them and that poor men would be
robbed by rich men. They were, therefore, satisfied with small villages.
They saw that kings and their swords were inferior to the sword of ethics,
and they, therefore, held the sovereigns of the earth to be inferior to the
Rishis and the Fakirs.” --Gandhi

Dandi March (Tagore), Fasting, Swami Rama, Mandela, Dalai Lama.
We all have; we must share. Sharing economy stats. Collaborative consumption is not Gandhian.
Gandhiji went from city to city, village to village collecting funds for the Charkha Sangh. During one of his tours he addressed a meeting in Orissa. After his speech a poor old woman got up. She was bent with age, her hair was grey and her clothes were in tatters. The volunteers tried to stop her, but she fought her way to the place where Gandhiji was sitting.I must see him,” she insisted and going up to Gandhiji touched his feet. Then from the folds of her sari she brought out a copper coin and placed it at his feet. Gandhiji picked up the copper coin and put it away carefully. The Charkha Sangh funds were under the charge of Jamnalal Bajaj. He asked Gandhiji for the coin but Gandhiji refused.I keep cheques worth thousands of rupees for the Charkha Sangh,” Jamnalal Bajaj said laughingly, “yet you won’t trust me with a copper coin. This copper coin is worth much more than those thousands,” Gandhiji said. “If a man has several lakhs and he gives away a thousand or two, it doesn’t mean much. But this coin was perhaps all that the poor woman possessed. She gave me all she had. That was very generous of her. What a great sacrifice she made. That is why I value this copper coin more than a crore of rupees.
