A group was given a list of people and asked to choose which 4 out of 12 should stay in a bunker during a disease outbreak. The group decided to keep the scientist, army officer, lawyer, and doctor as they believed these occupations would be most useful for repopulating the earth and providing education once the disease had passed. They acknowledged these people may not work well together but considered them the smartest options.

Who Will Survive?
We were given a list of different people: scientist, priest, married couple who are hippies and drug
addicts, a single pregnant woman with a 5 year old girl, an army officer who has mental instability of
some sort but is useful nonetheless, an elderly woman, a disabled person, a lawyer, a lazy welfare
dependent, a doctor, and a university professor. A disease had come and they needed to stay in a
bunker that only accommodates 4. We were asked to eliminate 8 people. Our group chose to keep the
scientist, the army officer, a lawyer, and the doctor. Even though there is a chance that these people
would be full of themselves and not able to work as well together, we decided they were the smartest of
the bunch and were useful to repopulate the earth and provide education when it was all over.
