- 7. TOP MANAGEMENT Gladys joined Focus Ventures in 2016 as senior Partner. A US graduate with a M.A in economics and a M.A. in international relations, Gladys is an inspired entrepreneur and strategic partnerships consultant. After spending more than 10 years in the US, where she went to college, Gladys decided to settle back to her home country, Côte d’Ivoire, in order to play a major role in the tremendous growth of the country’s economy. A hyphenated-‐citizen, Gladys is half South-‐African and keeps strong ties with this country as well. Gladys is fluent in both, French and English. Haoua is the founder and Managing Partner of Focus Ventures. Haoua identifies, investigates and assesses long term s t r a t e g i c b u s i n e s s opportunities beyond the 'business as usual' for companies in this dynamic part of the world. Her previous responsibilities as country manager and then head of operations both held in the African continent allowed her to get a sharp insight of rapidly developing economies' business potential. Haoua is a graduate of France, MSc in International business and Japan with a MSc in Financial engineering from Yokohama National University.
