There are 6 ways to open a sentence to add variety. This document introduces 3 types of sentence openers: subject openers which begin with the subject of the sentence, preposition openers which start with a preposition showing the relationship between nouns, and "-ly" adverb openers which begin with an "-ly" adverb followed by a comma. Examples are provided for each type of opener to illustrate their structures. The full list of prepositions and the remaining 3 types of openers will be covered at another time.
