From the Eyes of Dall'Acqua

Born in July 24, 1950, in a city called Araraquara, which means “House of the Sun”, in Tupi-Guarani language, in the State of São Paulo, Brazil, Dall’Acqua began his adventures in graphite on paper when was a child. “ I remember my first design... an indigenous group... a mother and her daughter, seated on a rock... it was a homework... I loved to do that ... …the beginning of everything!” Then, life took Dall’Acqua to the career of engineering, planning and designing hydroelectric plants... in most of his life. But art never left his soul and now he is restarting what likes to do …in reality. Some works, developed in recent years, are being shown here... most of the oldest were lost... disappeared with time... or donated to friends now unknow.

Acrylic on canvas... Some time ago, Dall’Acqua launched a collection called “The Four Elements”, based on the forces of nature, with a serie entitled “The Dancing”. It is composed by four paintings: “Flame”, “Wave”, “Dune” and “Breeze”... ... made during 2006...

In search of experiences, some works are being generated, giving new expectation to creation... ... continuing the collection “The Four Elements”, compounding the serie “Touch”, four works will be made, in clay ... two of them in terracotta and the others in earthenware ... ... two of those are being performed... in terracota... the first one is ready... the second is only with the part in terracota prepared...

Looking to the future, Dall’Acqua has his real desire satisfied... finally. Experienced by the life lived, with the colours of a dynamic Brazil, of suffered pains, appear, thru the works, the lights that shine in his eyes. This could be “The End”... however, is just “The Start”... The works here presented will be ready... ... until December 2009...
