I thought it would cost more to relate to the silence and solitude of the study, it has not been. Just messing with me first paint stains, has been almost as immediate infatuation is like a return to those areas for meditation, dialogue and creating more active, even those areas that believers call to prayer. They talk with my ten and I meditate the historical, the story is a individuu step. With the brushes can remove water feelings, psychic energy is renewed. These you see below are the first paintings after returning to the world in which I am made.

18 Saksala Art Radius Catalogue Sculpture Symposium 2005Marja de Jong
In 2005 FOAM/ArtRadius and Saksala ArtRadius organized a sculpture symposium based on the theme reductive abstraction. During the last two decades it seems that art has been attempting to give itself more content by accumulation. Combinations of superfluous materials and styles have lead to a redundant art. But this apparent development is only an aspect of art as a whole. What is presented as contemporary or even avant-garde is only that which has temporarily in the spotlights of the museums and galleries. The marketing of art by too many fashion seeking art historians and art promoters is continuously aimed at creating new trends. This would not be so detrimental, if only they would realize that different art forms have to exist next to each other in order to stimulate and nourish each other. Letting the artists determine their development themselves seems to be too much to ask.

Romanticism and Impressionism vary greatly in their style. Romanticism was in favor for a much longer period of time, roughly 1800-1890, than Impressionism (1870-1880). Romanticism was more an attitude and choice of subjects than a true style. The artists of this period looked for emotions and imagination when deciding what they wanted to create. They looked for the risqué and exotic as well as mystery. Impressionist artists had some more flexibility with the new availability of equipment that was more portable. This allowed Impressionists to work in the actual outdoors as opposed to studios. These artists used natural light, shadows and a lighter color palette to express their ideas.
The pieces for this discussion were chosen due to the similar subject of the works yet stark contrast. Both pieces feature a group of people enjoying a leisurely activity, yet they are not alike at all. The way they contrast and show their specific movements is remarkably interesting. First, the Romanticism piece chosen is The Women of Algiers by Delacroix (p.485, fig. 21.2). This piece is very risqué, and the subject of the piece is quite scandalous. The women portrayed are women in a harem and it was unusual for outsiders to be allowed in, let alone document it such as this. Delacroix demonstrates this period by the subject of the piece being so exotic and mysterious. He does a great job showing unity yet variety here as well. The painting feels very dark and colors of the piece are mostly neutral and really work well together, with a kick of reddish orange here and there to brighten up the piece.
The Impressionist piece Le Moulin de la Galette (p.490, fig. 21.7) by Renoir is a stark contrast to The Women of Algiers . This piece, while detailed enough for one to see the subjects and understand the context of the painting, is not focused on the clear lines and defined objects as The Women of Algiers is. Renoir uses a freer stroke and uses emphasis and subordination. The emphasis of the painting is on the small group in the front of the painting as the rest get blurrier the farther away they are. This painting is so much brighter with a lighter palette than the other clearly showing that it is from a different mov ...
Art, and especially visual arts, is the topic that requires both background knowledge and imagination. Most teachers are afraid of it, the same as most students are bored with it. However, with the concept maps and cause-and-effect sentences it may become a source of fun in the English classroom. So, to make teaching of art more effective, I suggest a couple of ideas, which will also be the key points for the workshop:
1) Basic history of art - it gives us not just facts but useful vocabulary for describing works of art.
2) Elements of design and what they mean.
3) How to describe a picture or a photograph.

25. TO WALLPAPERING
WALLPAPERING
On the wall we can act and in fact it operates. Wallpaper, as I conceived
intervention is on the wall, understood as support. A building or a house with
walls middle takes a different dimension. The perception is enhanced, which
is offered to integrate the building if the intervention of visual art. An
intervention on the wall is a claim of cultural heritage and this claim makes
the building take on a new dimension, a different dimension. The
pedestrians, the ices and visitors are aesthetically questioned who were
calls for a new service, until eventually this intervention is assimilated as a
normal, integrated community. The walls may have speech and the ability to
bring art to the street. Indeed, wallpaper is street art. Without being graffiti,
street art is. Wallpaper is perhaps more akin involved with buildings and
monuments of Christ with graffiti Anyway all these types of expression have
in common the desire to bring this to people without the intermediation of the
museum or gallery without intermediation of any kind.
26. LOOKING FOR FREEDOM
What you have two images, is a model in cardboard timber that will later
evolve to finish corten iron. The final sculpture will consist of two cubes
sectioned two meters long, sustained on a column regular prismatic triangular
base, the height of which is equal to the height of two superimposed cubes as
you see in the image of the left.
This is a project that combines both aesthetic concepts.
The first is purely formal and geometric hexàedres consists of two cubes
or truncated, one double and one single way. Sections are equilateral
triangles third side side cubes. The two cubes are connected to these
sections and the ground, either directly or through a prismatic column and
regular basis which is the same triangular cubes.
They are dynamic and dense forms that contain a large force and are
aesthetically emotional (emotional continents).
The other is a more figurative, symbolic if you want. The hands represent
individual or collective longing, their work / jobs. The human longings and
dreams are different, perhaps for this reason I chose to assign a
rotational positions hands position in the set. If we were adding cubes with
their hands that they would see corresponding create a sort of chain
reminiscent of DNA without being a helical shape The set is highly
balanced, viewing it from any angle similar to it away. The energy of the
hands is projected towards the infinite sky.
Hands stick out of the sides of the dense but dynamic cubes. These are
the hands that put us in touch with the world, expressing our wishes and
desires of the humanity, this is symbolic that we wanted to set aside a
project, the purpose of which, expression is also freedom of research.
