Mary Shelley was born on 30 Aug. 1797 and died 1
Feb.1851. She Married to P.B.Shelley. She’s famous for
“Frankenstein” - The Modern Prometheus.
Frankenstein tells the story of victor Frenkenstein a
young scientist who creates a sapient creature in an
unorthodox scientific experiment.
Frankenstein or Modern Prometheus
01 Victor Frenkenstein writes a series ofl etters to his
sister Margaret and tells her about his dangerous
mission for north pole.
02 His desire is to discover “ Secret of Life” and
research for several years which he thought he
found it.
03 After his hard work finally one night in his lab he
brought his creation to life.

People’s hope,
values , fears
and aspiration.
2) Mythos are Worldview
based on Tradition story or
Body of Mythology.
3) In reality Myth reflects
more Profound reality.
4) Study of Myth reveals mind
and character of people.
Myth of Prometheus
In Greek mythology,
Prometheus is one of the Titans,
the supreme trickster, and a god
of fire. In common belief, he
developed into a master
craftsman, and in this
connection, he was associated
with fire and the creation of
mortals. His intellectual side
was emphasized by the apparent
meaning of his name,
Forethinker.
Steals fire from Zeus and
give it to Mortals.
Prometheus got Punished
for it.
Zeus neiled him to a
mountain and sent an
Eagle to eat his immortal
liver, which constantly
recovers.

help of electricity.

Shadow of Gloom.
