Personal statement
I believe myself to be an optimistic and out going person in all situations, I enjoy working by myself on
tasks because it allows me to stay focused and make the best of the time and resources I have,
Placed in a group task I am not a leader but will contribute my ideas and my skills to the best of my
ability and enjoy the skills other people bring. I enjoy the print based sides of media including a lot of
the music side making album covers, posters and magazines. I make a lot of graphic design in my
work as I enjoy the creative side and the freedom to create whatever you please.

(April 2016 – September 2016)
Working in a kitchen gave me experience In pressured situations and taught gave me a taste in real
work place, I also learnt how to work together to get things done faster and it gave me a insight into
the culinary world and the creative side of food.
Minskip farm shop, Minskip
(January 2017 – July 2017)
Working on a farm gave me experience in manual labour and getting your hands dirty, it gave me a
taste of hard working and very little free time.
National Citizen services
(2016)
Taking part in the NCS gave me several life skills including first aid, leadership and teambuilding skills. The
experience in all was very different to most situations teaching me how to work in groups with people I never
met, and what its like to be placed in fast thinking situations.

Hobbies & Interests
Within my spare time I enjoy music, in a sense of live music and the production
side when making magazines and posters. I also enjoy using Photoshop in my
spare time creating a wide range of graphic art and making articles covering
different political topics and movements. (e.g the riot grrl manifesto)
