INTRODUCTION
● In the book, the story highlights different topics, we are going to
describe some of them.
○ Revenge
○ Responsibility
○ Love and passion
○ Loneliness
REVENGE
● The “revenge” is one of the most important topics that appears very often
throughout the book.
● Revenge is a very common feeling that humans feel when they want to do
something bad to other people because this people have made a bad thing
to him.
REVENGE
We are going to show you now a few examples of revenge that take place in the
book:
● FRANKENSTEIN WANTS REVENGE WITH THE WORLD.
○ At the beginning, Frankenstein was a monster that didn't want to terrify
anyone but in few occasions as he was mistaken because of his
appearance he changed his opinion and decided to pay his
unhappiness with his creator and he thought that the best way to do
so, was murder his most cared, and he killed his little brother William.
REVENGE
● THE LAST REVENGE:
○ The monster asked Victor if he could create another female monster
so he could not feel alone again but Victor didn´t accept the proposal
and the monster promised revenge on his wedding day. He murdered
Victor´s wife, Elisabeth, while Victor was searching him around the
hotel.
○ After that, Victor tried to find the monster but he failed and he died
without reaching his aim.
RESPONSIBILITY
● Immediately, after victor created the monster, he realized what he did,
and horrified he leaves it leaving the monster unprotected and alone in the
world.
RESPONSIBILITY
● Víctor does not bother looking for the monster for years and when he does
he rejects it by hurting the feelings of the monster.
● Víctor does not take charge of its creation leaving it completely alone.
RESPONSIBILITY
● Victor does not realize the responsibility of creating a monster, and when
he does it ends up doing more damage, so in this book we can say that the
responsibility of the main character is not the one that should have.
LONELINESS
● Loneliness is a very a important topic which appear during the book.
● Loneliness is the unhappiness that is felt by someone because they do not
have any friends, company or do not have anyone to talk to.
LONELINESS
In the book the monster felt alone:
● Nobody loves him due to his appearance.
● He felt evil and unlucky.
● He does not have parents, because Victor
was his creator.
● He does not have identity.
● He want a wife to be happy.
LONELINESS
Victor also exhibits loneliness in the book:
● He run away from society when he
created the monster.
● He spent most of his time with his
studies.
● When he go to create the new
monster he is also alone.
LOVE AND PASSION
In my opinion, this topic has been the one that has most favored the book.
● Love happens when two people love each other and they don’t let anyone
separate them, this topic happens in our book Frankenstein.
LOVE AND PASSION
Love part of history:
● Victor loved Elizabeth since they were
young and she too.
● When his mother died, she wanted them
to marry in the future.
● Victor goes to college and doesn’t write it
to her.
LOVE AND PASSION
● Victor married Elizabeth, but on the honeymoon, the monster appeared and
killed his wife.
● Victor was left alone and he was very sad, he didn’t want to live.
● Finally, he died and the monster couldn’t take revenge anymore.
THE END
