Pretzelmaker Franchise International Brochure 2020Pretzelmaker
In the early fifth century, when some monks were busy inventing Shaolin Kung Fu, German monks took a vow of deliciousness and invented the pretzel. Believe it or not, they were made to mimic arms folded in prayer and used to reward small children for good deeds. Even back then, they were a hit. Flash forward a couple of centuries. That's when we later came along and elevated the Pretzel to new dimensions of tastiness.
Pretzelmaker / Pretzel Time introduced our famous soft pretzel in 1991. It was a hit. Today, we offer an awesome selection of hot, fresh-baked, fresh twisted pretzels, pretzel dogs, freshly squeezed lemonade, creamy blended drinks, and cold beverages all over the world. You can find us in over 360 locations in the U.S. and worldwide. For now-Antarctica, watch out.
It's a big world out there, and Pretzel Time/Pretzelmaker® is bringing our delicious pretzels to new corners of the globe every day. Already the #2 pretzel concept in the US, we're rapidly becoming an international brand, with locations already in Canada, Guam, and Mexico. And that's just the beginning. The brand continues to grow and be recognized around the world, allowing more and more people to experience our amazing collection of pretzels and pretzel-related treats.
The golf driving range business plan is your roadmap to a thriving practice space. It strategically addresses location, target demographics, facility design, equipment acquisition, and effective marketing, offering a comprehensive guide for establishing a successful golf destination.
Great American Cookies became an instant retail phenomenon in 1977 when the first store opened in Atlanta, Georgia’s Perimeter Mall. Founded on the strength of a generations-old family chocolate chip cookie recipe, the company eventually set the standard for gourmet cookie sales in shopping centers nationwide.
From one store and one recipe, Great American Cookies expanded in malls across the country and at the same time developed a complete line of cookies and brownies, including our signature Cookie Cake product, making it one of the best cookie companies in the industry. By putting only the finest, fresh-baked goodies in our stores, Great American Cookies has set the stage for success.
Being the biggest cookie company has never been the objective at Great American Cookies. Our goal was simply to bake the best cookies ever made. However, by maintaining pride in service as well as providing the public with a delicious and appealing line of products, Great American Cookies became a leader in the snack food industry.
All of the cookies and brownies at Great American Cookies start with carefully tested recipes, highly controlled production and the finest premium ingredients from our batter facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The end result is the best possible fresh-baked products at an affordable price. From our signature Cookie Cakes to our sinfully rich brownies, Great American Cookies takes the time to do it right.
Our mission statement is simply: Share the Fun of Cookies ®

Croc’s Playcentre franchisees will receive extensive training prior to opening their centre. The basis to this training is that given by the solid operational experience of two hands on Director who have grown the business operation from the ground up. In addition, a franchise owner can expect individually tailored training and support in an ongoing fashion following initial training. This is weighted heavily toward the early period after opening and the following months.

EST. 2009
The business was established in 2009 with a love of beer, wings and sport shared by James Sinclair and
Brad Harris. James was living in the USA when he phoned best mate Brad to tell him about a business
model ingrained in America; sports bars and grills. It seemed like a perfect fit for the Australian market
with sport, food and drinks all in a “modern casual” environment. A plan to bring the contemporary
sports bar to Australia was born and the first venue opened in Geelong, Victoria in early 2010.
The team worked hard to win customers by delivering exceptional service with a customer first culture,
strong promotion of sporting events, serving good value and quality branded products, and offering a
strong club loyalty program. The venue in Geelong incorporating bar, restaurant & function areas proved
an instant hit with locals.
BUILDING A FRANCHISE
The love of beer, wings and sport continued as The Sporting Globe brand expanded
with company venues at Fountain Gate in 2012 and Moonee Ponds in 2013. A
Richmond venue was opened as a franchise in 2014 with franchisee’s Kelvin Moore and
Sean Kagan. Kelvin was looking for new opportunities after finishing a ten year career
playing AFL with Richmond Football Club.
“The Sporting Globe has a great business model and
provides fantastic administrative support, which made my
decision to become a franchisee easy” - Kelvin Moore
The franchise continues to grow as we look for new sites and franchise partners both
within Victoria and beyond.

AVAILABLE LOCATIONS
At the time you submit your Application Form, it is likely that opportunities exist
for both existing sites and new sites throughout Australia. We never compromise
on the quality of the sites we secure, just as we never compromise on the quality
of people we select to become our Partners.
Generally there are three options for site selection:
»» You may be granted the opportunity to franchise a site
we have already secured
»» You may be granted the opportunity to franchise an exisiting venue
»» You may nominate a particluar area on your Application Form or during
the Franchise Recruitment process.
Enquire today to discuss all of the areas in more detail.
FRANCHISE RECRUITMENT TIMING
Each applicant will firstly need to satisfy all the requirements and steps set out
in The Sporting Globe’s Franchise Process below. On average this process can
take between 6-10 weeks to complete. Following this, the timing of your venue
opening is completely dependent on handover and the lease commencement
date outlined in the lease.
If purchasing a new ‘greenfield’ site, our Leasing Department negotiates all of
the commercial terms of the lease, including the handover date. We nominate a
date suitable to you, to the landlord and to The Sporting Globe. When buying an
existing business, your franchise recruitment consultant will nominate a settlement
date that is suitable for you, the vendor and the team dedicated to supporting you.
