Leon experiences great hardship after losing his daughter, as he is framed for her death and goes on the run. The film implies violence and brutality to depict Leon's struggle for physical and mental survival in a complex storyline. Through Jefferson Main's excellent portrayal of a lost man and the isolated, eerie filming locations, empathy is created for Leon's character and tension built, as the audience questions his innocence until an unexpected twist at the end reveals all.
