God has accepted people based on faith long before Jesus' resurrection. Abraham was considered the "Father of Faith" because he believed God's promises without seeing their fulfillment, which was counted to him as righteousness. Some key heavenly things we can have faith in include Jesus being God, his death and resurrection to forgive sins, and the promise of eternal life through faith in him.
The most important thing to believe in is what Jesus Christ did for you. Without the sacrifice Jesus made, we would have no opportunity to have a relationship with God both now and in the afterlife.

What Do You See In The Crucifixion of Jesus? Man's Only Hope For Salvation!Don McClain
Are there many ways to God? Are there different roads to heaven? In this study we will examine these questions and we will also focus on what the Bible teaches regarding what we must do in order to benefit from the crucifixion of Jesus. I would like to encourage you to not only view the charts - but also listen to this series.
Is this old expression in the Bible? Can Christians say that this expression is true? Moses told Joshua to be strong and courageous. Jesus told us to fear not. Paul faced persecution.
Around the world, church buildings, many of them beautiful cathedrals, are being repurposed in many different ways - sometimes into locations for activities condemned by the Church.
Don't live out your relationship with God according to what others tell you. God wants to be closer to you than anyone else. And He will always provide everything you need. There are too many so-called church leaders who really don't care about you or God.
The Bible stands alone as an incredible ancient book. It is forcefully substantiated by thousands of ancient copies and thousands of fulfilled prophecies. It has always been powerful.
God created all we know, and all we can possible know, including His very thoughts today. But how He reveals this information to the hearts of individuals is like the wind. It can't be institutionalized.
Almost 2,000 years ago the Paul, the Apostle, traveled to the city of Corinth in what is now Greece and founded a Christian church there. That city still exists. Paul loved and obeyed Jesus dearly.
That Jesus Christ died because He was crucified is a well-established historical fact. Anybody who looks close enough will find the truth. Why was His death necessary? Why follow an executed criminal?
What you say is very important to God. He is not casual about spoken words. Your words are your fruit, your produce, and you are known by the fruit you bear. Do your words give life? Or are they poisonous? You choose your own words.
Historical Context for the Bible: RevelationRick Bruderick
It is wise to consider the historical context in which are found the actual events of the particular Bible passages we are studying. The first book we present is the last book of the Bible, the Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Focus on where you WANT to go. Fix your eyes on your target. Why? Because you will certainly go to what you are looking at. But you can decide where to look.
When American founders declared independence from England, they did it with reference to God the Creator. What was their motive? How is independence important in Christians today?
The Bible records events in which Jesus discusses His mother. He gave public credit to His followers for being His mothers and His brothers. Spiritual mothers should be honored.
God gave Moses the 10 Commandments, and hundreds of other laws. Human institutions always create rules, commandments, laws and bylaws to keep their members institutionally moral.
The One who made Heaven and Earth and all of us who dwell here didn't plan on it being permanent. It will all be destroyed, with only a few survivors. Who survives? Those who love God.
The world is a dangerous place, especially for those who are called to love God and neighbor. Will you be attacked and suffer? If Jesus would have protected Himself, there would be no Easter to celebrate.

The authorities in our lives expect our silence and agreement. If we speak up, we will be punished, excluded, or worse. God expects us to fear Him above all others. Jesus taught the same.
Jesus demonstrated what it means to serve others and the early Church demonstrated what it means to serve each other. If we call ourselves Christians, then we become servants to others.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Q2: Realizing that we are hopeless
sinners, and that the Law can’t save us
since it only shows us how sinful we

A: By faith. We are made
right by believing in what
Jesus did for us: He took
our punishment when he
died for us.
R: Romans 3:28, Galatians 2:16

Q3: When did God start accepting
people who had faith? After Jesus

A: No, long before then. Way

Q4: What is Abraham’s nickname, and
why?
A: Christians and Jews call
Abraham the “Father of our

produce children of faith.

Q5: What is the opposite of faith? And where
does that thing come from? Is it OK?
A: Doubt. If nobody lied, we could
believe everything, but there are liars in
this world, and they also have a father.
We doubt. It’s normal. But who wants
to be normal? I want to live forever and
be filled with the power of God.
Doubting keeps us in the natural world.
That does not please God.
R: John 8:43,44, Mark 11:22-24, Hebrews 11:6
26. pg. 26
John 8:43,44 …You are of your
father the devil, and your will is
to do your father's desires. He
was a murderer from the

34. pg. 34
Luke 7:2-10 Now a centurion had a servant who was sick
and at the point of death, who was highly valued by
him. When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent
to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and
heal his servant. …
And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from
the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him,
"Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to
have you come under my roof. Therefore I did not
presume to come to you. But say the word, and let
my servant be healed. For I too am a man set under
authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one,
'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he
comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him,
and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, "I
tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith."
And when those who had been sent returned to the
house, they found the servant well.

Q8: What does it mean to “believe in
him”, Jesus Christ?
A: In this world, when you meet
people, do you immediately trust
them? No. You don’t trust that
person until you know more about
them. “Believing in” Jesus Christ
means knowing what he said and
completely trusting that every

John 14:8-11 Philip said to him, "Lord, show

Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so
long, and you still do not know me, Philip?
Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.
How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
Do you not believe that I am in the Father and
the Father is in me? The words that I say to
you I do not speak on my own authority, but
the Father who dwells in me does his works.

A: Hear the facts,
believe them in your

them with your
mouth.
R: Romans 10:8
62. pg. 62
Romans 10:8-11 But what does it say?
"The message is near you. It is in your

message of faith that we proclaim: If
you declare with your mouth that Jesus
is Lord, and believe in your heart that
God raised him from the dead, you will
