Foodnation is currently alpha testing version 1.0 of their hybrid mobile app. They plan to begin beta testing in August 2011 and launch nationally in September on their website and mobile app. They are finalizing integration with data partners for their mobile application. Foodnation is also partnering with Church Farm to build an e-commerce and m-commerce site as a case study to implement nationally to help farms increase production and supply directly to local communities. They are seeking additional partnership opportunities including cross-branding, creative uses of technologies like QR codes and push notifications, and food data partnerships.
