3. Why this iconic telephone?
This phone was carefully selected over all the styles and
designs because of the nostalgia this evokes. Everybody has
some kind of memory and nostalgia attached to this project, it
was extremely iconic and really popular in the 80’s and 90’s. It
was not just a telephone but a pop culture icon.

9. The Backend Technology Bit
Technically, the project can be classified as an application of
IoT (Internet of things). With this in mind, it contains all the
modules of a typical Internet of Things project; sensors,
actuators, a processing board, and a cloud.
The hardware part of the complete setup includes a dialer
phone, a processing board, recording devices with audio and
video capturing capabilities, and other input devices that can
vary from one particular use case to another. Some of them
might include human detection sensors and ultrasonic sensors.
This is totally dependent on the specific requirements of the
clients.
