Millions of Americans are affected by food allergies that can cause mild to life-threatening reactions. During Food Allergy Awareness Week, we must take steps to protect those with allergies by carefully reading labels, cleaning surfaces, separating foods in kitchens and dining areas, educating others, and ensuring public spaces like schools are safe. The administration supports training for caretakers and schools to respond to allergic reactions as we work to build a healthier future with better food safety.
