This document announces a workshop titled "LNG Roadmap - LNG as a driving force for cross-border cooperation within Europe" to take place on May 28th, 2015 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The workshop will highlight ways that liquefied natural gas (LNG) can be used as a fuel for shipping, road transportation, and industrial applications based on European experiences. Attendees will include LNG traders, logistics companies, engineers, and manufacturers. The agenda includes presentations on implementing LNG as an alternative fuel along the Rhine and Waal rivers, progress of LNG master plans in the Netherlands, use of LNG in logistics and public transportation, infrastructure development, and potential European funding.

EnergieAgentur.NRW and Gas- und Wärme-Institut
Essen e.V. invite you to join the 2nd Workshop “LNG
Roadmap – LNG as a driving force for cross-border
cooperation within Europe” in Düsseldorf, Germany,
on the 28th of May 2015.
The event highlights the ways of LNG (liquefied natural
gas) use as a fuel gas for shipping, road transportation,
industrial applications and shows European experiences
collected by pioneer LNG users.
LNG can help transportation companies to reduce their
fuel costs and emissions. Industrial users can benefit
from LNG as an alternative fuel.
LNG traders, logistics and transportation businesses,
engineering companies, plant and equipment manufactu-
rers, energy consultancies, public utilities and authorities
are invited to discuss the launch of the LNG as a fuel.
During the Workshop there will be some LNG powered
vehicles demonstrated. Our guests will have an opportu-
nity to get a good overview of the modern transportation
technique and obtain an advice from the vehicles operator.
