1) QUELLMAX is a swellable bentonite waterstop tape that reliably seals construction joints exposed to water through strong swelling (>300%) and a unique two-phase sealing process of immediate swelling followed by crystallization. 2) QUELLMAX can be installed easily and seals cracks and cavities through a self-injecting effect. It is dimensionally stable and reusable even after decades. 3) There are three types of QUELLMAX waterstop tapes: standard QUELLMAX BLACKSTOP, QUELLMAX Plus with rain protection, and QUELLMAX Plus 2-Phases with rain protection and a patented two-phase sealing behavior.

With Fitting Rail
The underground has to be clean, free from loose concrete
parts and as plain as possible.
QUELLMAX should have good contact to the underground.
QUELLMAX has to be installed into the middle of the wall
(standard length is 5 meter).
Place the fitting rail onto the waterstop tape and fasten it
with steel nails or impact dowels.
3 steel nails or impact dowels per meter are required.
The minimum concrete covering is 8 cm!
With Building Adhesive
The underground has to be clean, free from loose concrete
parts and as plain as possible.
Apply building adhesive, preferably CEMstar, in the middle
of the wall. Place QUELLMAX onto the building adhesive.
QUELLMAX has to be pushed firmly onto the ground. Addi-
tionaly fasten with steel nails or impact pins if neccessary.
A minimum of 8 cm of concrete cover is required!

Our swellable bentonite waterstop tapes are a reliable
alternative to conventional waterstop tapes and steel plate
waterstops.
Swellable bentonite waterstop tapes are used for water-
proofing of vertical and horizontal structural joints. They
feature a strong, fast and reliable swelling performance.
QUELLMAX swellable bentonite waterstops consist of
bentonite embedded in a matrix of high molecular butyl
rubber as well as special fillers and crystalline admixtures.
The patented QUELLMAX technology has a unique two-
phase sealing behavior of immediate swelling followed by
crystallization.
QUELLMAX can be applied for the sealing of construction
joints subjected to up to 7 bar water pressure.
