FLOSS Manuals is a nonprofit foundation that produces free and open source documentation about free software through an online wiki platform. It was founded in 2007 by Adam Hyde and is written and maintained by a global community of 350 volunteers. The organization aims to be the best source of high-quality information about free and open source software by creating an online platform, community, and extensive content about various software programs through means such as writing manuals collaboratively onsite over a few days (called "Book Sprints").
