2. Hey guys!
I can't believe I am in Florida! I took a
long trip on a mail truck and then I waited
inside
of a hot, dark mailbox for days!! Finally, I
heard a key unlocking the mailbox and I
took a BIG JUMP and landed in the hands
of Cecilia's poppy!!! I could not believe
that I was in beautiful, sunny Marco
Island!!!!
3. Nana and Poppy were so glad that I
came to Florida to visit them! They
took me all around the places near
their condo. I saw the pool and the
bay and lots of palm trees!
4. They live on Smoke House Bay. It is only 5
minutes from the ocean ~ but really it is
called the Gulf of Mexico. Here is the
huge marina right next to their condo. I
saw soooo many boats!!
5. Every day, Nana and Poppy
take a walk to the beach! I
was lucky that they asked
me to go along. There is a
new bridge that worker men
have been building since the
fall.
6. I saw a GIGANTIC crane. Poppy
said it was 100 feet tall !! I really
wanted to climb to the top,
but poppy said, "NO WAY, JOSE !! ".
7. We saw so many workmen working on the
bridge! Some of them waved to me!!!
8. Every day, after Nana and Poppy walk to
the beach and back, they go to Starbucks. I
was excited to go with them! It was the
FIRST TIME I had EVER been to Starbucks
!!! I got a little excited and I jumped out
of Nana's hands and into a pile of coffee! It
really smelled good!!!!
9. They always have their
breakfast outside at
Starbucks! I was so
excited, I tried to sneak
a little sip of their
drinks......but they
caught me just in time!!
10. One day, after our bike ride, I tried to climb
a very very tall palm tree! Poppy caught me
just before I got out of his reach!!
11. After that, they said I needed
a little rest because I was
getting WAY TOO EXCITED! I
crawled into their great big
bed and took a little rest.

13. I loved sitting on the dock of the bay with Nana and Poppy and all of
their friends every night to watch the sunset.

14. I LOVED going to
restaurants with Nana
and Poppy. They can walk
to many restaurants from
their condo. Here is

15. When we eat lunch on the lanai of their
condo, Poppy always lets me have a little
taste of his food. In this picture he was
having spaghetti !! YUMMY YUM YUM !!
16. I REALLY liked sitting in Poppy's BIG chair with
orange cushions! It was so comfy and it
swiveled all around so I could see EVERYTHING!
17. One day, Nana let me sit up on the
screen of the lanai!
18. I guess she was soooo busy, she forgot all
about me and went into the condo and
closed the sliding door! !! SHE DIDN'T
COME BACK FOR HOURS! I was kind of
scared because there were frightful
creatures called lizards (they looked just
like dinosaurs to me) running around right
outside of the lanai!!!!!! Anyway, guess
where I was when she finally came to look
for me?????
19. Nana put me back
on her bed, sang me
a little song and
patted me to make
me feel better!
20. We went for a ride
on Uncle Mark's
boat! WOW! That
was soo much fun!
First Poppy held
me, but Nana
thought I would be
safer with her!
21. One day, Aunt Tami's
grandson, Gavin, invited
me to the beach. Boy, did
we HAVE FUN!! We built a
sandcastle, we collected
shells, and we splashed
in the water !! This is a
picture of Gavin and if u
look really close, you can
see part of Poppy's head
in the second picture!
22. This is my last night on the island! I am
sad to leave but very excited for my
next adventure !
