2. This story tells about two friends that
were walking through the desert.
At one point during the trip they started
arguing and one of the friends hit the
other in the face.

‫وجهه‬ ‫على‬ ‫الخر‬ ‫احدهما‬

3. ‫كتب‬ ‫كلمة‬ ‫اي‬ ‫يقو ل‬ ‫أن‬ ‫بدون‬ ‫لكن‬ ‫و‬ ‫وجهه‬ ‫على‬ ‫رب‬ِ‫ ب‬ ‫ض‬ُ‫ر‬ ‫الذي‬ ‫الصديق‬ ‫تألم‬
‫الرمل‬ ‫على‬
“‫اليوم‬ ‫وجهي‬ ‫على‬ ‫لدي‬ ‫صديق‬ ‫اعز‬ ‫”ضربني‬
The one that had been hit was hurt, but without
a further word, wrote down in the sand:
TODAY MY BEST FRIEND HIT ME IN THE FACE.

4. ‫و‬‫التستحمام‬ ‫فقررا‬ ‫ناء‬ّ‫ا‬‫غ‬ ‫واحة‬ ‫الى‬ ‫وصل‬ ‫حتى‬ ‫طريقهما‬ ‫تابعا‬ ‫بعدها‬
‫الماء‬ ‫بحيرة‬ ‫في‬
‫ان‬ ‫ال‬ ‫يغرق‬ ‫ان‬ ‫كاد‬ ‫و‬ ‫الطين‬ ‫في‬ ‫قبل‬ ‫من‬ ‫ضرب‬ُ‫ر‬ ‫الذي‬ ‫الصديق‬ ‫وقع‬
‫ال‬ ‫بإذن‬ ‫انقذه‬ ‫صديقه‬
They carried on walking until they came
across an oasis, where they decided to
freshen up and bathe.
But the one that had been hit before got
caught in the mud and was about to
drown, but the friend saved him.

5. ‫نفسه‬ ‫الغريق‬ ‫تمالك‬ ‫عندما‬ ‫و‬ ‫بعدها‬‫على‬ ‫حفر‬
:‫الصخر‬
“‫حياتي‬ ‫صديق‬ ‫انقذ‬ ‫”اليوم‬
After he had recovered, he wrote down on
a stone:
“TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.”

6. ‫توا‬ ‫انقذه‬ ‫و‬ ‫قبل‬ ‫من‬ ‫ضربه‬ ‫الذي‬ ‫صديقه‬ ‫تسأله‬ ‫هنا‬
،‫الصخر‬ ‫على‬ ‫حفرت‬ ‫الن‬ ‫و‬ ‫الرمل‬ ‫على‬ ‫كتبت‬ ‫ضربتك‬ ‫”بعدما‬
“‫لماذا؟‬
The friend that had hit his best friend and
had then saved him asked:
‘After I hit you, you wrote in the sand and
now you are writing on stone, why?'

7. ‫صديقه‬ ‫فأجابه‬
‫الريح‬ ‫لتأتي‬ ‫الرمل‬ ‫على‬ ‫ذلك‬ ‫كتابة‬ ‫فعلينا‬ ‫شخص‬ ‫يؤذينا‬ ‫عندما‬
“‫الكتابة‬ ‫تختفي‬ ‫هبوبها‬ ‫مع‬ ‫و‬ ‫المسامحة‬ ‫تجلب‬ ‫و‬
The other friend answered:
‘When someone hurts us we should write
it down in sand so that the wind can
forgive us by blowing it away.”

8. ‫ان‬ ‫فيجب‬ ‫معروفا‬ ‫شخص‬ ‫الينا‬ ‫يؤدي‬ ‫عندما‬ ‫لكن‬ ‫و‬
‫رغم‬ ‫دائما‬ ‫ذلك‬ ‫فيبقى‬ ‫الصخر‬ ‫على‬ ‫ذلك‬ ‫نحفر‬
‫الرياح‬ ‫هبوب‬
But when someone does something nice
for us, we should engrave it in stone,
where no wind can ever blow it away.”

9. ‫نحفر‬ ‫و‬ ‫الرمال‬ ‫على‬ ‫آلمنا‬ ‫نكتب‬ ‫ان‬ ‫فلنتعلم‬
‫الصخر‬ ‫في‬ ‫الجيدة‬ ‫التجارب‬

‫الى‬ ‫نحتاج‬ ‫لكننا‬ ‫و‬ ،‫لنحبه‬ ‫يوم‬ ‫و‬ ،‫لتقديره‬ ‫ساعة‬
‫لننساه‬ ‫كلها‬ ‫عمرنا‬ ‫ايام‬
They say it takes a minute to find
someone special, an hour to appreciate
them, a day to get to like and love
them, but it takes a lifetime to forget

11. Send this to the people you will never forget and
also to the person who sent it to you.
It’s a short message to let them know that you
will never forget them.
