This document provides instructions for creating finger puppets in a video log project. It outlines the materials needed like paper, glue, scissors and describes the process over two weeks. In the first week, students will research finger puppets and watch a tutorial video. In the second week, they will make their own puppets by cutting, gluing and decorating paper to form shapes like animals. The document includes templates for 8 different finger puppets including a butterfly, turtle, sheep and dragon. Students will then film short videos using their puppets.

2. VLOG
• “V LOG” is a Video log.
• We create short clips, videos and publish them.
• In VLOG you are creating a video of yourself where
you talk on a particular subject such as reporting or
reviewing a product or an event.

3. 1st week:
• We look for the information about finger puppets.
• We watch the video
• We study some words.
2nd week:
• We collect things.
• Choose the puppet we want to create.
• Make a puppet and film the video.

7. 4. A butterfly
• Hello, My name is……….. ………. .
• I want to make a butterfly.
• At first I take a paper, fold it and stick its
sides.
• Than I draw and cut out the shape of my
fingers, these are wings, you can draw
and paint on it too.
• Then you stick your finger shapes on the
paper and draw a face: eyes, and lips. You
can stick antennas too.

8. 3. A Turtle
• Hello, my name is …………. ………. I am
going to make a turtle finger puppet.
• At first I take a green paper and draw a
shell. Then I draw a long neck and a
head. I draw (stick) eyes and a mouth. I
draw two circles in the bottom of the
shell and cut them out. I stick a little tail.
• Here is my turtle.

9. 5. A sheep
• Hello, I am …………. …………. .
• I am going to make a sheep finger
puppet.
• At first I draw a body, legs and head and
cut them out. I stick cotton buds onto the
body and a head, I draw eyes and a big
smile on its face. I glue a stick behind
• and the sheep finger puppet is ready.

10. 6. A horse
• Hello, My name is …………… ……….. .
• I am going to make a horse finger
puppet.
• At first I cut out a horse and color it,
than I stick ribbons for its tail and a
mane. I glue sticks behind and my
horse finger puppet is ready.

11. 7. A unicorn
• Hello, My name is …………… ……….. .
• I am going to make a unicorn finger
puppet.
• I draw a shape of a unicorn and color it. I
use rainbow colors. I cut out a horn and
stick it on its head.
• Then I draw a face and stick some
kneading string on its head and a tail. I
cut out 4 circles underneath and my
zebra is ready.

12. A King
• Hello, My name is…………. …………. .
• I am going to make a king finger
puppet.
• I draw a king, a crown, eyes, beard,
nose mouth, its clothes and hands.
Than I draw two circles at the bottom.
I cut them out. And my king finger
puppet is ready.

13. 7. A zebra
• Hello, My name is …………… ……….. .
• I am going to make a zebra finger puppet.
• I draw a shape of a zebra and color it. I
use black and white pencils.
• Then I draw a face and stick some
kneading string on its head and a tail. I
cut out 4 circles underneath and my
zebra is ready.

14. 1. A ghost.
• Hello I am….. ……. .
• I want to make a ghost finger puppet.
• At first I take some white paper, I fold it
and draw a shape on it.
• Then I cut out a shape and stick its sides
together.
• Finally I draw a face. I draw eyes, nose
and mouth.
• My finger puppet is ready. Whoo, it can
fly in the tree branches now.

15. 2. An elephant.
• Hallo, my name is ……….. ……….. .
• Today I want to make an elephant finger
puppet.
• First I take blue paper an draw a shape. It is a
body of the elephant. Than I draw ears. I cut
out the shapes and stick ears onto the body.
• Than I draw a circle in the middle of the face
and cut it out.
• Finally I draw (stick) eyes and eyebrows. And
my finger puppet is ready.

16. 8. A dragon
• Hello, My name is……………. …………. .
• I want to make a dragon finger puppet.
• At first I take some paper and draw a
face, 2 legs, a tail and cut them out.
• Then I fold red paper and stick it to the
head and a tail.
• I glue sticks by the head and stick legs
onto it and my dragon is ready.
