Guidelines for Authors
1. Format & Style
Manuscripts: All manuscripts must be printed in letter quality (font size 12) in double space on one side of A4 paper with margins of at least one inch on
all sides. Authors should submit one soft copy along with the hard copy „by post‟ to the editor.
Cover Page: Manuscripts of a paper should have a cover page providing the title of the paper, the name(s), address, phone, fax numbers and e-mail
address of all authors and acknowledgments, if any. Please restrict the author – related information only to cover page. Further, please mention the
subject under which the paper should be included.
Abstract: Following the cover page, there should be an „abstract‟ page, which should contain the title of paper, the subtitle "Abstract" and a summary of
the paper in double space. It should not exceed 150 words in length along with three to four key words. The text of the paper should not start on this
page, but on a fresh page. References should be cited in the style prescribed in the publication manual of the American Psychological Association (APA
Guidelines).

Figures & Tables: Each figure/table should be numbered, titled. The position of figure or table should be indicated in the text on a separate line with the
words “Table 1 about here‟.
Length of the Papers: The total length of the paper should not exceed 2000 words (Includes maximum 2 to 3 charts/table/figures in total, paper with
more charts/table/figure shall have to pay atleast Rs.500/- extra). For every additional 750 words an extra Rs. 500/- will be charged.
2. CD and hard copy of final manuscripts:
Please email your paper on editor@ijar.in, once your paper is accepted than you are asked to sent the CD containing word file of the paper, Hard Copy of
the Paper along with Copy Right Declaration Form duly signed by any one authors along with publication fees.
3. Publication Fees:
a) IJAR charges a humble amount towards publication fees of Rs. 1000/- * for single author upto 2000 words, for every Addition author Rs. 500/- extra to
be paid and/or for every additional 750 words Rs.500 extra, to be apid either in Demand draft or Cheque of Nationalize Bank drawn in favour of “Indian
Journal of Applied Research” payable at Ahmedabad, all authors are entitle to receive a complimentary copy
b) For International Authors (Authors outside India) needs to pay US$ 100 for single author for an article with a length of 2000 words. However, for every
additional author US$ 50 extra to be paid and/or every additional 750 words an extra US$ 50 needs to be paid.
* if the paper is not been as per Author Guidelines than minimum fees for single author shall be Rs.1500/**Cheque at par drawn in favour of “Indian Journal of Applied Research” is also acceptable
