Final project for "Launching New Ventures" MOOC from Coursera

1. Two problems:
Find court or tennis partner or tennis coach in the
neighbourhood. I new it as a tennis player, it's
very hard to find a good tennis partner and
organize a game in place and time
Gender imbalance in China and Russia, in China
more men than women, in Russia is the opposite.
Hard to find a partner to make family

2. Solutions:
Mobile and web app for tennis players, help to
find courts, players, coaches around you using
geolocation. Players can broadcast their game
offer that everybody in the neighbourhood can see
it and apply to it
Mobile and web dating app for chinese men and
russian women. Help to find a prospective partner,
easy communication with convenient translations
from chinese to russian or english and vice versa

3. Choosing opportunity
The first opportunity has global market, the
second is not
The second opportunity may have serious
cultural differences between chinise men and
russian women so it will be hard for them to make
family
Tennis popularity grows.
I've decided to choose the first opportunity

4. My customers are:
Passionate amateur tennis players who play
tennis twice a week or more
They like to play tennis in different places and
with different partners
They would like to practice tennis with coach

5. Enter market
USA
Number of recreational tennis players in USA is
estimated 17 millions.

6. Marketing
Advertising campaign in internet, tennis forums
Promoting apps in apple store and google play,
CEO for web app
Make viral content with nice tennis celebrity
photos and events from their life
Write a blog with good articles for recreational
tennis players, helping them to choose equipment
and in general

7. Finance
I will develop all products by myself
I will invest some money by bootstrapping my
startup, so I don't need any seed money.
Later possible funding sources can be: venture
funds, angels.

8. Value capture
Subscription, it adds more functionality (for
example two+ game broadcasting per week)
Advertising tennis equipment
Virtual gifts

9. Growth plans
1 year, USA, 3 million of users
5 years, world, 20 million of users
