This document summarizes plans for a temporary urbanism project in Dame Court, Dublin. The project aims to activate the underused public space through temporary interventions informed by research. A team will work with local businesses and the city to [1] develop a platform for citizen-led initiatives, [2] test ideas through minimal interventions, and [3] use lessons learned to incrementally improve the street. Initial proposals include restricting vehicle access, adding chairs, focusing on art, or animating building facades. The team proposes managing the process through a steering group to oversee a structured program of measured interventions.
