This document outlines a recycling education project between a student team called Team Reusables and Congdon Elementary School. The team held four events to teach recycling lessons to the 5th grade class and encourage recycling in the school and community. These events included lessons on the three R's, creating a recycling quilt, a community event to showcase the quilt and sign families up for recycling programs. As a result, more blue recycling bins were distributed and recycling awareness was increased at the school.
