- #3 In our team all of us had the same problem. Saving is stressful because it’s so hard. We all had tried to save with different kinds of apps but we failed since those apps hit us with confusing numbers, made us feel bad about our expenditures and eventually made us quit saving. We also found out that this problem exists with others as well. In our user research there was a huge problem related to options for saving and In fact 30% of Finnish people have a savings problem, that’s 1,5 million people! We live in the 21st century and yet our means of saving are still as old fashioned as putting money in a piggybank. It’s hard and it’s stressful.
- #4 Current saving apps can only track your expenditure and hit you with depressing numbers but they don’t actually help you save up. Customer’s don’t need numbers. What they need is how to save and where to put that money. By integrating with OP we can solve these problems.

On an individual level Dreamfund users can partition their savings accounts, so multiple savings accounts are no longer needed! Also, users can now see what they are saving for, they have better control and better visibility over their finances. On the banks side users are putting more deposits to their savings accounts, and personally I have never heard of a bank that refuses to take more money in. Banks can also market their other services like mutual funds in the dreamfund actions page. All in all, thanks to this service, users put more money to their savings accounts and get more interest. At the same time, banks get more money through the increased amounts in the users savings accounts. Which of course means, better access to investing all that money.
