The documentary aims to raise awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a fatal genetic disorder affecting 1 in 3,500 male births. It will do so by interviewing a person living with DMD about their daily life experience, as well as genetic researchers discussing stem cell and gene therapy treatments. The documentary will be biographical and informative, using semi-structured interviews to allow patients and health professionals to elaborate on their experiences living with or researching DMD. This approach makes the documentary unique compared to others that only feature parents' perspectives.
