1. Dear Interviewer,
Thank you for volunteering to help with the Senior Exit Portfolio interviews on March 9-11. This
interview provides an avenue for our students to articulate the highlights of their high school
experience and share samples of their best work.
The portfolios have been collected and are now available to peruse in the Media Center at the
high school. You may do that any time during the regular school day (8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) beginning
February 22. If you come during the school day, you will need to check in at the main office.
On February 23, February 24 and March 2 we are offering orientation sessions beginning at
6:00 p.m. in the Media Center at the high school. The portfolios will also be available those evenings
beginning at 3:30. The orientation sessions are an overview of the process and what to expect during an
interview. If you have not participated in this event before, we encourage you to attend one of these
sessions. If you cannot attend, we have a PowerPoint we could email to you that would cover some of the
basic information. If you are a member of the facebook group Newton Senior Exit Portfolio
Interviewers the PowerPoint will be there as well. It can also be found on

Please check the attached spreadsheet to see your interview partner and the students you will be
interviewing.
