AT&T has named Eric Decker as the new director of sales for its retail business in Northeast Ohio. Decker will oversee more than 50 AT&T retail locations across Akron, Cleveland, Elyria and Youngstown. Decker previously led an AT&T Small Business Sales team in Pennsylvania and has over a dozen years of experience working to provide customers with a leading experience.

AT&T Names New Director for Northern Ohio
CLEVELAND (Aug. 22, 2017) — AT&T* has tapped Eric Decker to lead retail business in
Northeast Ohio. As director of sales, Decker will manage more than 50 AT&T retail locations
across Akron, Cleveland, Elyria and Youngstown. His office is in Cleveland.
“Eric is focused on customers. He’s got great talent in working with small businesses in
particular,” said Alyson Woodard, area vice president, AT&T Ohio/Pennsylvania. “Eric
earned his leadership experience working up through the ranks. His skills and proven track
record make him a natural choice to lead our sales team in Northeast Ohio.”
Previously, Decker led an AT&T Small Business Sales team based in Pennsylvania. He got his
start as a retail sales consultant in North Carolina. He has held leadership positions as a
retail store manager and area manager. Decker received his Bachelor of Science from
Excelsior College and his MBA from Auburn University.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know our neighbors and customers in Northeast Ohio,”
Decker said. “I’ve spent more than a dozen years learning how to give them a leading
customer experience. We’ll continue to do that, and will strengthen our relationships in the
community."
Decker is married with five children, and has relocated to Hudson.
